What a dump!

I think sleeping in your car might be better than a room at Judsons, near Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley. The wafting aroma of pot and crack cocaine seem to permeate the air while walking down the hall to your room. And most rooms seem to be rented to permanent residents or employees at Sugarloaf. Our children were not impressed when at 3:00AM, we were all awoken by loud partiers that somehow had a key to our room and walked in unobstructed.Scarier than the place itself, is the owner/manager Richard Rose, who said if we didnt like the accomodations, we were welcome to leave (no refund offered, of course). We understood the smell of dope all over the motel alot better, upon speaking with Richard, who appeared to be stoned out of his mind the next morning at checkout.Sketchiest place I've ever stayed. Perhaps a homeless shelter would suit a family's needs better.
