BUY YOUR TOYS AT IN THE LAND OF NOD AS THIS WOMAN DOESNT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS

I had the worst experience at this store ever. i live on the west coast and recieved a baby gift when my daughter was born. it did not match the room and i sent it back. given that there is no website, i live 2000 miles away and the sales assistants are less than helpful, i found it impossible to find something to buy. i called a handful of times and they were never sage enough to suggest an alternate idea when i would call to see if they had a particular item. eventually, i gave up and forgot about the credit.when i found out my girlfriend was pregnant (and lived by the store), i figured i would buy something for her with the credit -- a win-win situation...i use my credit and the store gets a potential new client. however, the credit had expired (i didn't realize this) and when i asked if they could make an exception, given the fact that i live across the country and had great difficulty trying to use it in the past, they would not. moreover, when i called the owner, robin, she promised to call me back and never did.obviously, i felt that it would have been good business ju-ju to bend the rules, but what i was so taken aback by was her lack of customer compliance and friendliness. When i explained she never returned my call, she snapped and said, "that she thought this was resolved". there was no "i'm sorry or my bad". when I explained that her employees in the past had not been helpful, she responded defensively by saying that she found this hard to believe rather than hearing me (a customer) out and apologizing for my disatisfaction.i wholeheartedly believe in supporting small businesses, but when someone is this rude, defensive and unflexible, i believe we as hard working people should not spend our money at her store. pass this on if you live in the area as the capper is that she hung up on me.
